The two main founding myths of Rome are the story of Romulus and Remus, who were raised by a she-wolf and later founded the city, and the tale of Aeneas, a Trojan hero who fled the fall of Troy and eventually settled in Italy, becoming the ancestor of the Romans. Both myths have played significant roles in Roman culture and history, and each has its own unique elements and symbolism. Ultimately, the preference for one myth over the other is a matter of personal interpretation and cultural significance. **
